Let’s pause and acknowledge some gifts God has sent to our parish. First, many thanks to the army of 

volunteers and the team of dedicated leaders who gave us a wonderful parish picnic last June. Despite tough weather, we had a lot of fun with our neighbors, and earned $55,333.90, a huge help to our school. Second, our Fish Fry team hosted our biggest fish fries ever; those efforts will pay for our Friendzy social-emotional learning program, our new vocabulary curriculum, an upgrade to the cafeteria hallway, and $30,000 in Msgr. Vince Bommarito Scholarships for our school families. Finally, Msgr. Ray Hampe left SSP a bequest of $50,000 in his will. Msgr. Hampe served as an associate pastor at SSP in the 1980s and spent many years of his 

priesthood giving a Catholic education to children with special needs. He went to the Lord on May 29, 2024. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen. Please pray for our benefactors!
