Have you heard the good news about Faith Adventures? Saint Stephen Parish and Saint Lucy Parish sponsor a regional faith formation program for children in grades K-8 called Faith Adventures. This program helps children get ready for First Communion and Confirmation if they don’t attend a Catholic school, and teaches children the whole panorama of the Catholic faith. Like a standard parish school of religion (PSR), we teach children all the wonderful ways God our Father loves us through Jesus in the Holy Spirit. 

But Faith Adventures is so much more than a standard PSR program, because Faith Adventures gives children not just the teachings of Catholicism, but experiences of living our Catholic faith, experiences of how we live as friends of Jesus. We also help children process those experiences in small groups where they can share their questions, hardships, and victories with children their age and caring adults.  

If you know a family whose child has been in PSR in the past, or who might benefit from Faith Adventures in the future, send them our way! Families can join us for our morning session starting on September 14 or our afternoon session starting September 28.
