Last weekend we introduced Faith Adventures, a new monthly event where children K–8 meet Jesus, learn the faith, and grow as Jesus’ friends. SSP Parish and St. Lucy Parish sponsor a regional program to continue the good work previously done by Parish Schools of Religion (PSR) for children in public schools. There’s a lot that is new and exciting in Faith Adventures, including experience-based learning. We’ve also opened Faith Adventures events to all children, whatever school they attend. We’ll have two opportunities each month:one at St. Lucy’s on Sunday mornings and one at SSP on Sunday afternoons. Families can pick which session works better for them each month, and thanks to our tithing parishioners, there is no cost to families.
